There is a time for everything

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

What time are you in?

What season of life are you in?

Maybe it’s new birth, or death, planting or reaping, crying or laughing. The beautiful thing is that with all of the realities of this life He incorporates it all and He brings it all together in His time, not our time, but His time.

None of this time is wasted time.

Every day He is painting a beautiful picture that even our mind’s eye cannot fully see or comprehend. For we only see in part. He is always painting a picture of what is yet to come. A picture of how He sees us and how He sees the world.  A picture full of beauty and full of hope.

He is making everything beautiful in His time.

The God of all creation who desires to invade our experiences of life, whether that is joyful or sorrowful. He fills it with His presence, infuses it with His grace, and gives it colour, meaning, and purpose.

He makes everything beautiful in His time.

Up from the ashes comes beauty and from the place of sorrow comes the fullness of joy. Up from the pit of despair comes hope for tomorrow. For our, God is with us. He is always here, He is always near, He is always there. He is everywhere.

For there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

Very often in life, we prefer the times of joy to the times of sorrow but the beauty of the gospel says that to God it doesn’t make any difference for He brings them all together.

He makes everything glorious in His time.

The time that you are in, whether it’s birth or death, laughing or weeping, sowing or reaping, is Gods time. He desires to bring His presence into each and every experience of our daily lives. With His presence comes everlasting joy and everlasting peace.

For it is He who is making everything beautiful.

He will make everything glorious in His time.

How wonderful it is to know that our minds are capable of being in touch with the things of eternity and yet restless to know more about the mysteries of our God. We search, we linger, we stumble, we fall, we hunger, we thirst for our minds are never fully satisfied with mere answers. We can only be fully satisfied by God himself, who is so much more than mere answers.

We yearn for His affection and the enjoyment of the divine maker of heaven and earth. Who beacons us, calls us and invites us into this beautiful, profound and mysterious relationship. That’s how much He loves us. That’s how much He wants to know us and for us to know Him. To partner with Him as He makes everything beautiful in His time.

He makes everything glorious.

He makes everything glorious.

From glory to glory.

He is glorious.

He is glorious.

There is a time for everything under heaven and He will make everything glorious in His time.

None of this time is ever wasted time.

He is making all things new.
